A Bit of Background
The Rainbow Book is known as Beaufort County's business resource guide for LGBTQ+ owned and friendly businesses. We already have over 50 businesses listing with us and we can not wait to have you join us!
Lowcountry Pride has had many requests for a directory of local businesses we as a community should support. There is a strong desire within the community we serve for a listing of businesses that offer a safe environment for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Rainbow Book is a digital resource guide targeted to Beaufort County locals and visitors. The Rainbow Book is sponsored by Lowcountry Pride. We have seen reach of 3,500 users and 300 engagements in just 12 hours of posting. We believe this reach will just continue to amass and will drive real results in web traffic and new clientele.
The Rainbow Book runs from June to June. It is free to list your basic business information (name, address, phone number, email, and social media), but for printed ads featuring logos or other information, the pricing structure is as follows:
$30 for an 1/8 of a page.
$50 for an 1/4 of a page.
$90 for an 1/2 of a page.
$150 for a whole page.
This resource guide was originally created to support our local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. At that time, we were donation based only to help businesses gain customers without the expense of listing.
